Unfortunately I don't know enough java to offer any more debugging advice apart from checking the URL is correct and the API token has Zone:DNS:Edit. I can get DNS records to work fine with curl

The 'production' environment you see is an old thing called Service Environments which hasn't been configurable for awhile
