I'd like to open a discussion about the way pages functions are billed.

Can we have a default of bundled requests but then have a few routes that use unbundled (because they need to calc stuff on cpu)? Or would creating two pages projects be the only solution to this?

While for plain workers it may be feasible to create two workers for two distinct things and then choose billing accordingly, I have a problem with my pages project. It's a fullstack webapp and I can't use bundled for the whole app because some parts use ~1-2 secs of CPU (rarely used, maybe 1% of requests). I can't feasibly use the unbound plan either because I have maybe 5% of requests call openai which sometimes takes 20-90 seconds to answer, so the GBsecs wall time would be killing it.

I have a domain name (example.com) and I want to route twitter.example.com and example.com/twitter to my twitter account. I have written 2 separate rules in a

The first one won't work because redirects dont work at the domain-level. You should use page rules for this.

The second one probably just needs https:// added to twitter.com/example_com

I'm trying to deploy a very simple blog template to pages, my repo is here. https://github.com/securitypedant/securitypedant.com.

The reason is I use remix, the full stack framework which has a pages stack so we can deploy images and stuff with the pages CDN. I needed to separate a little part of the app into a microservice because I need unbound billing for that functionality. Because I already know the tech stack, I went and deployed a remix app with pages, maybe the usecase makes sense now.

Thinking about it, I definitely can do that with a worker alone, just didn't cross my mind until now
