Tyrolean shoes. Can you actually buy them in Tyrol?
We all love the Paraboots and the Klemans, but apparently these shoes originate from the Tyrol region in Austria/Italy.
I'm going there soon, will I find these types of shoes there?

Oh, wow. Those look comfy!
I mean there might be a paraboot stockist in Innsbruck. Google suggests there is.
Thanks but that's not really what I mean. Based on the name I assumed there would be some local manufacturers
There are ostensibly "Tyrolean" companies making a version, but as far as I can tell they nearly all manufacture outside of the area.

(also that version is hideous)

Scarpa Aspen Gtx - shoes to wear in winter | SCARPA
A shoe for everyday use, especially suitable for the colder seasons thanks to the fine nubuck leather, the protective rubber rand and the GORE-TEX membrane.
I live in Austria and have seen similar shoes in stores in the past (granted I'm on the other side of the country so I'm not sure exactly how common they are in Tirol)
