I don't know what stores there are in Toronto beyond that if you need it quickly.

It's a big city, it has most stores SS is probably 200 pre-tax here for anything decent And I tried a crappy shirt the other day, didn't fit The one you linked is the one I tried on. Wasn't that nice, and definitely didn't fit

Pretty much any department store at a mall should have a good, white dress shirt. Spier & Mackay might in their toronto store. If you have fit issues it might be more complicated than that, but you should be able to find something that can be tailored, today. Probably.

They make decent stuff by all accounts. If they sell a white dress shirt that fits you well and you're okay with whatever price they charge, go for it.

Proper cloth, white twill cotton, fit would be exact and it's really nice quality

Twill can wear hotter than poplin, so keep that in mind

What's up with poplin? I have one shirt and it's so wrinkled it looks permanent deformed no matter how much I iron. It is lighter and crisper though

Is your iron hot enough? Otherwise just get it laundered/pressed at a dry cleaner

MTM is a horrible way to get a shirt that fits perfect on the first try and it will take a while

propercloth is more like semi-mtm but yes, maybe high risk for someone who has to ask

Cotton shirts come in a number of weaves. Poplin, also called end-over-end, is one. You can always bring it to a dry cleaner and tell them to launder it (no need to dry clean it) and they'll press it and it'll look unwrinkled. Then you'll know that your iron skills are insufficient (mine too ;) )

I suggested proper cuz he said he had plenty of time. Which means I totally misread his OP lol
