GIf mounting the base to a motion rig, what would be the effective weight of the unit (i.e., the base itself in the absence of a power supply or anything that could effectively be on the floor and connected by wiring alone)?

Nno, that is controlled by the Spring slider

Nits part of the FFB sdk library. Each module in DCS implements their own FFB, so its not going to be universal across modules.

Nthe export is pretty light weight in the grand scheme of things.. prob on par with Simshaker

NI keep my damper at around %20.. no issues. THe only one that induces oscillation for me is friction

WWhen spring gain increases, damping also needs to increase to keep it from shaking to death. That (spring strength proportional damping) parameter does that automatically.
