Odd trousers
I'm hung up on more vintage styles of trousers, like 20th century and even earlier vintage. Primarily super high rise and pleated. Preferably tapered. Double bonus points for split/fishtail back, but not necessary. Is anyone currently making trousers like these? For under or around $300? Will I need to go vintage? What vintage shops do people recommend for this style?

Old Town will make you stuff like this.
Oxxford, for sure.
I am positive I have a pair from someone else too. Zegna? Brioni? Brioni sounds right, unsure about Zegna.
High rise, pleats, fishtail back. Well, my Brioni ones are not pleated, but I suspect they make em pleated.
Casatlantic
Brother, these are $1500.
I buy mine second-hand so I figured that would help OP searching vintage shops and second-hand shops.
I promise you I haven't paid much.
i stand corrected
Old Town?
Old Town
High Rise Trousers
Popular, loose cut trouser style worn mainly but not exclusively by men. High back with braces buttons. Side pockets, waist adjuster on back. Bottoms approx. 19”. As with all other styles these may be ordered longer than the standard 32”. When ordering trousers we need an exact waist measurement rather than what you wear in other makes.
Why / how do these brands drop in price so drastically? I wouldn’t expect £1000 trousers to go for £60 second hand on ebay?
Supply and demand. Lots of supply, low demand for second-hand clothes. Especially tailoring.
I paid ~$80 for my Oxxford dinner trousers, though I am having ones made up now for ~$500. My Brioni worsted flannel trousers were ~$40. The Zegna stuff I bought under $30.
Plus usually either $10 or $30 in tailoring costs for hem and hem+waist respectively.
