Awith ffb pedals you could basically create an autorudder function since the slip ball data is pretty widely available in simulators and modules
AI would of course only resort to such cheating in the cases where it's possible

Awell how does it actually work?
Ahaving again installed my mcgu grip I realized that a 600g stick is actually heavier than a 200g stick so adaptive recentering sounds interesting
WIt tries to minimize the error where the stick is to where the stick should be, over time
JA message of hope to all who feel like the wait for their Rhino is interminable: My originally assigned serial number was 219. The serial number on my unit that just shipped to me is 165. I don't know if folks are backing out of their orders because they've opted to go the kit route or just weren't that serious, but either way, I'm getting my Rhino many months sooner than I ever expected.
Asounds a slight tiny bit scary potentially, but I might have to give it a go

PI've used HidHide to specifically hide HID devices and forgot about it.
PUnhidden the device and TelemFFB works as it should. Doh!

AI tested stuff with the new centering thing and I can conclude that there isn't a lot of change if you don't have the feature enabled
B@walmis Thanks, guessing the switches are standard wiring with the ground daisy chained
WYeah, you need to connect all switches to common ground an the other terminal to each of the data lines.

NIt actually makes a pretty big difference for me. I like a medium amount of dampen on the stick so without the new setting it is always just a tad off of center depending on which direction the stick was deflected.. with the new adaptive recentering it always 'finds home'..

LI like adaptive recentering better with Mi-8, pitch seems easier to keep. I have a 20 cm extension.

JPlease note that the cable between mainboard and shift register is not too long. Had massive problems with a cable about 25cm long. 
S330ohm resistor on data line fixes long cable problems
