In-game cutscene video doesn't play

Playing Orwell : Keeping an eye on you and the video doesn't play for some reason. Rebooting the game skips it and moves to next section. I shtere any way to fix this. Thanks

no easy way to fix this you have to download a wow64 build of wine (32 on 64) I compiled one myself but I think there is someone who uploads them lemme find a link https://github.com/Kron4ek/Wine-Builds/actions/runs/5721244198 download this build and put it in the the heroic wine folder after extracting it

i put it at /home/.config/heroic/tools/wine, next to wine-ge latest. heroic recognizes it but says path is wrong

sorry for the late response it doesnt even run even heroic gets stuck for some reason im running it right now in integrated graphics mode should i try nvidia mode?

ok try the vanilla build might be an issue with the staging one or maybe even proton proton should probably work

no video in vanilla, proton-ge or experimental reinstalled the game. tried proton experimental, still doesn't work

yes it is an issue with gstreamer well you got no other choice other than compiling wine yourself good luck lmao
