Hey all - I've successfully uploaded an image to the R2 bucket and it's available through the linked domain - so far so good.

When the image is embedded in the page it works as expected, however when I directly visit the link to the image the browser prompts to save it as a download.

This only happens when I upload this image programmatically, when I use the Cloudflare UI it doesn't behave like this. Could someone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong here?

The dashboard operations count as well, like listing objects, getting objects, and I assume UsageSummary/GetBucketLocation may also count there (from the dash getting them) and explain some of the Class Bs

Yeah if the calculation I wrote is correct, then you're only billed for 6.5TB. But I'm not entirely sure tho

16TB peak on the second day
32TB peak on the third day
36TB peak (capped) on the fourth day

And then you're retaining the data for 3 additional days, that's 3 times a peak usage of 36TB.

You're not calculating the days before the 7th day. He's building the data up slowly, so first day is 1TB, second 3TB etc etc

Hello, I am look to have videos put on R2 compressed. Any idea how to do that? It seems that a Worker with ffmpeg.wasm is not an easy solution.

hey just setting up r2 for a project im working on. i was wondering if it was recommended to have multiple buckets, each one containing a different asset type (i.e. one for user profile pics, one for user uploads, etc) or if i should store it all in one bucket with sub directories and what not. let me know, thanks!

It really depends on what you’re doing, hard to make a single recommendation. I would definitely split user file uploads into their own bucket though if users are doing that

It seems not the correct way to pass key and secret? I saw this endpoint url a aws s3 compated API, the key and secret need be enciphered but not pass them in headers directly. You can see the postman examples they offered.
