is a "grace period", shouldn't be applied if you did pay already

tucows, another tld operator, describes it a bit more directly:

autoRenewPeriod
Meaning: The domain has expired, and the registry has charged the registrar for an extra year of renewal.
What to do: Renew the domain with your current registrar or get the transfer key to move the domain to another provider. Alternatively, do nothing and allow the domain to be deleted or go to auction.

dns has no list functionality so as long as you dont make a certificate (wildcard are good for this) it will be "hidden" unless something else leaks it

it will be on one of my domains which may reveal that its a service related to whatever im running but its not dangerous becuase its all secured i just would rather not have it public bypassing cloudflare

What is your overall goal for hiding it though? Security through obscurity should never be relied on for protection. While it's good to deter attackers, you have to assume they'll find something like that and plan accordingly. Be ahead of them from the start.

WWalshy Not yet, we still have to figure out the best way to allow that.

Hey Walshy. You said this a long time ago re deploy previews from repo forks for Pages connected via git for deployment.
One mitigation of this could be to allow direct upload method to work with projects created through the git integration. Documentation says that is currently not possible. This would require the people in control of the repo to make the decision about deploy previews, and they can approve any non org member as required to run a deploy (preview) action.
It's obviously going to create maintenance cost for the customer, but I'd rather that than have NO solution, which is where we are now.

For context, this hampers open source projects who want to host on CF but allow the community to contribute to website and docs.

However, you cannot create deployments with Direct Uploads on a project that you created through Git integration on the dashboard. Only projects created with Direct Uploads can be updated with Direct Uploads.
