Pages doesn't like you use remote dev. You always use local

You can use the API to add more bindings to the worker however the next time you use wrangler deploy it will overwrite them

No, something we are looking at later this year. D1 is still in alpha and we are focused on stability & larger DBs first.

There’s ongoing work to make it easier to update env vars & bindings without a redeploy (although keeping in sync with your wrangler config will still be challenging/a risk)

assuming there was an endpoint that could "bundle" my worker (e.g. send it a zip and it bundles the way wrangler does) we could completely avoid the wrangler/api dance by using the api exclusively. the build step is the primary issue there (iirc this is maybe addressed by the workers/pages unification project?)

Technically this works, but appears to be underdocumented. Chasing internally. The current PUT module / PUT content endpoints should support this. I would test but I’m halfway through a 15 hour flight

Set the content type to multipart/form-datamultipart/form-data

Wrangler typically bundles it all into a single file w/ esbuild but added --no-bundle--no-bundle which is basically what you're doing with the API, and allows 'proper' dynamic imports

im getting an odd behavior in my pages project when trying to bind a d1 database. i printed out the env from one of the routes and noticed the variable __D1_BETA__D1_DB__D1_BETA__D1_DB rather than D1_DBD1_DB that i have specified as the binding in the settings. what could be causing this?
