How can CF Pages support virtually unlimited bandwidth? I'm surprised why it's free and I've never seen it crash, I've had DDos attacks done to my pages

it being free is a marketing tactic to get a lot of people to use it for hobby projects which makes companies pick it up because lots of people use it personally and they charge companies the big $$$

Hey peeps, I use GitHub Actions to deploy to pages with cloudflare/pages-actioncloudflare/pages-action but I have been getting deployment failures for about 3 days now.

The logs state:

However I don't see an issue with the token, I haven't changed anything related to cloudflare in the project and on the dashboard the token I'm using still is active and has the same permissions as before, additionally it does report "active" when actions tries to do a deploy so i'm confused, has anything changed? Is a new scope needed?

pages is a worker so its the same might be a very slight difference in the returned props like an added variable / missing variable but that should be it

probably because nextjs is a vercel product and vercel likes to make it very tied in to their ecosystem to try and force you to use vercel

Two things; ease of switching from Vercel to Cloudflare, and things just working. One of the key goals with next-on-pages is things just working with a deployment. If you're switching from Vercel to Cloudflare, you might be expecting these headers to exist, so we add them back instead of making you go through the process of changing how your app is written just to deploy to a different platform. It also means giving an already accepted way of dealing with the geolocation data in Next.js apps, instead of trying to decide on a new approach.

It's not possible to access the cfcf object at the moment. I believe there were some disagreements on the team about how to best proceed with that. Perhaps you might want to open an issue for that specifically as a feature request if it's something you would like, so that a way to implement it can be prioritised.

You might be able to do something with your UNSTABLE_PRE_BUILDUNSTABLE_PRE_BUILD env var, like this:

asdf plugin add imagemagick && asdf install imagemagick 7.1.1-15 && asdf global imagemagick 7.1.1-15asdf plugin add imagemagick && asdf install imagemagick 7.1.1-15 && asdf global imagemagick 7.1.1-15

That's for imagemagick, but looks like there's an asdf plugin for deno you could add and do something similar: https://github.com/asdf-community/asdf-deno
