PXFCE runs directly in Termux and has a debian proot installed for additional applications not available in the termux repository and then app installer is for even more applications not available in either repositories. You can log into the debian proot with the
debian command if you want to do things in there that don't work as easily in termux like compiling certain things that termux repo can't meet the dependencies for.PThere is also the
prun command which will run any command in the debian proot from termux without using debian to log directly into the proot.TBut is it possible to install external apps?

Ponly if they're aarch64/arm64 ... You can install box86, box64, wine from the app installer and try to run x86, x86_64 Linux apps with box86 and box64 or run x86 windows apps with wine or x86_64 windows apps with wine64.

PUse webcord from app installer, if you're going to run official client, you want the tar file, not the deb and you need to run with box64
RBut it will say it's corrupt and won't save your login
