T@jc523 I am familiar with this bot but it does NOT tell me the total number of orders so far....I would rather make my own estimates rather than rely on the bots estimate....thx anyway

JYou could just put yourself in line. I jumped a few spaces because those that got in before me, one way or another, did not have their orders filled. It’s been said the average per month is about 24. So, when you put your name down, take your assigned S/N, subtract the number the bot says it’s currently on, divide that by 24, that’s how many months you’ll likely have to wait.

DTo give an idea of how many people drop once it's time to actually pay, my order number was 315, origianal SN given was 285. I am now paid and 4 units away with SN 191.
TJust paid mine but got invoice 3 days ago, was "8.25" months for me, my original number was pretty high as well but 100-150 people somehow didn't want one anymore so now I'm SN 188.
JYeah I was like 120 something originally and got in the mid 90s for my actual unit
TYeah only 8 months'ish of waiting, I've waited a whole lot longer for a whole lot less, the MSFFB2 kept me in the loop just fine for years anyway.
BBeing able to afford it when time comes is certainly a concern for me.

HYou should have gotten an email from Google Forms labeled "VPforce RHINO Preorder", look inside that to see the form you filled out. Then maybe in 18hrs or so you can check the VPforceBot and type in "!info my.email@gmail.com" etc to see the response, it will show your order number reservation date and serial number assigned. You will be contacted I believe when yours is close to being built, i.e. pay for it, and confirm shipping info I'm guessing.

HJust had a quick go in DCS with a bit of a bodged setup for the mount till all my parts arrive (hopefully tomorrow).
Had a little fly in the P51 as that has always been a favorite of mine when flying in DCS with the MSFFB2. It felt good, but different. I have a couple of daft questions. With the sidewinder, the force (or spring gain I suppose in the rhino settings) was a fixed variable in that it never really needed changing. Whereas with the Rhino and the gain at 100, it appears to be too strong to an unrealistic level! Can any of the rhino owners relate to what I'm saying and I'm keen to know what settings are being used to give that feeling.
I'm slightly confused and mesmerised with all the settings as to how I can get a realistic feeling setup. Will I need to keep changing settings depending on the sim and the aircraft as well?

Mhey guys, I have a extension pvc pipe and a metal real aircraft joystick. With the CLS-E theres basically no force. How much more will the rhino give me? also once I get mine can i put the more powerful motors in it or are they too big.
MReal aircrafts give 40lbs at 9 gs and I am just trying to get as close to that as I can.
FHello using ah-64 with adaptativo center the stick got very stiff and some time moves to another position when trimming, Does anyone have experiment this behavior too?
WI personally gave up on trying to achieve "real world" forces. Perhaps not important to everyone, but once geared up, I lost the ability to fly helis, as the static force became too great.
WIt also becomes very unforgiving on the design and any small slop becomes amplified. I also find the motors aren't great at holding centre so can feel a little "loose".
WThis design gave me about 8.3:1 with the 4.2Nm motors. I found there was a point where the extra torque gained wasn't worth the disadvantages, at least for me.
Mhow many lbs of force with that design?

WThanks. I think about 35Nm. I've put a luggage scale on the handle and I think it was about 14kg of force for full deflection.
WThats about 400mm above the pivot point.
WI upgraded the rose joints, as these developed play in a rather short time. This is one of the problems with higher forces.
SAgree, from past experience with race car suspension parts and building motion sims, I purposely steered clear of them for my stick and yoke FFB setups. They do allow a nice compact build though.
D@walmis sorry for the ping, but I just wanted to be clear, I am only after a WW adapter, not another RHINO 
WYeah, I ended up paying about $20ea for the rod ends I'm using. They seem to be holding up for now, certainly much better than the cheaper options.
WHarder to design without using at least one rod end though. Especially if you want it "compact" with these larger motors.
