W1-AT PCB Lighting
I finally put in MX Blue RGB at the parts of the PCB that has LED. But there is something strange. I can only get light on the “num lock” key when I press “scroll lock”. If I press “num lock”, the LED under the Geon artisan switch lights up. Not itself. Any idea why this is happening? Are the LED toggles programmable? Thank you.

@yiancar plz help
Hello! They are but you need to recompile the firmware. I can do it for you but you need to tell me the what you want where led wise
Oh, it's simple. Just pressing the switch will turn on the LED at the same position for the 2 keys here.
"Scroll Lock" and "Num Lock"
or if you can send me the programming manual and compilation steps, I can give it a shot. I design chips for a living and fairly familiar with firmware basics (or I can bug colleagues). Thx.
well the firmware used is qmk
in either casright now the leds are triggered:
from left to right
numlock scrolllock kana fn1
would you like: scroll lock, numlock, kana, fn1?
May I have: esc, numlock, scroll lock, prt sc?
and no, I do not want to try it myself in qmk 🙂
ok i can make the ESC key not light up
numlock light up when you press it
scrol lock to light up when you press it.
prt sc not light up
How does that sounds?
the reason is, those leds are designed to be indicators, and the numlock scrollock etc are thing sot be indicated that they are enabled
yes, this is exactly what I wish for
thanks so much!
it's cool they aren't just hardwired connection diodes to the switch
ill send u a firmware u can flash in a bit
thank you. I'll grab it in the morning. Time to sleep.
Solution
can u try this one?

Enjoy!
