Hi accidentally used DD to clone 1 disk over my running system disk, was kinda spectacular that i got away without any data loss (thank you backups) and watch GNOME slowly die i went like "huh this dd is taking longer than usual" followed by immediate black screen with the blinking prompt

MBecause last time I was on Windows I had this fucking annoying ddl error for video content that wouldn't go away. it was effecting all of my MakeMV burned videos. I would try to play one then Windows would say it can't fine. I check the folder they are clearly there.
MTurned out for some odd reason Plex was the cuplrit for modifying that necessary ddl file.
MI didn't really know what those were so I watched a Linus tech Tips video on it

they didnt update it for years, so long so that installing it required you to install an old library from ubuntu 16.04 which had security issues. this gave rise to the community run flatpak version just so that people would not install a library that could break a future system update or crash other applications if they found the old library version on a newer system.

MI want to get into docker as well, I had installed on Linux Mint. But I didn't even get a chance to fully use it. and then I lost that one too after i installed Bazzite OS.
MI lost a lot and I've just been biding my time.

Hidk what the current situation is but i know they updated the package a few years back now, but people already moved to the flatpak before i quit the game anyway
Hi knew most of the people working on the flatpak anyway as they were old contributers to the linux version of the java based client (essentially a launcher with linux specific fixes to the official java client)
Hso i knew i could put my trust and support behind the flatpak when people were like "idk if i can trust it"
MThe flatpack is amazing! I love how everything is free!

DI find podman better
Hi use podman on all my newer systems, main system is still using docker as some of my stuff got angry migrating to podman and i decided 
so next time i blow up my main system i will reinstall and move that to podman

RHi, does Bazzite support multiple drives? I have 1 NVME for the OS and 2 SSDs for storage. Wanna make sure I can actually mount them all and have them in steam as storage options.
KYep, if they are permanent drives add them to fstab like any other distro
KYou can also do that from either of the disk utilities in KDE or GNOME
