Your audio extractor needs to be into your goxlr and the capture card. Assuming the audio extractor has hdmi and toslink. That optical goes into the goxlr
Dunno what toslink is but everything is plugged in where it should be. I get sound everwhere else in the headphones but not from the ps5. ps5 sound is coming thru the monitor even tho Ive got monitor speakers diables in output devices. 🤷🏻♂️
What specific audio extractor did you buy?

Don't think I've over looked anything. I get audio from monitor but not to headphones
Are you using that spdif port. Thats the optical toslink etc
Its either that console port or line in into your goxlr from that audio extractor
Yeah go XLR is plugged into that port
Then it's your goxlr settings. Routing table messed up
Oh okay so easy fix it seems
GG @ghostactivity, you just advanced to level 4 !
Your monitor speakers will always play audio as thats how the passthrough is designed
So mute that or drop the volume to 0. Then go to the routing table
Ah alright. Do you know how the routing should look for me?
I use the goxlr as my main audio so yes i do. Show me a screenshot of that

I dont see anything that wrong here unless you have duplicate audio coming through your headphones or stream etc
What is your primary playback device in windows?
headphones thru goxlr for games and monitor for everything else
No i mean what actual device in windows audio settings
Can you confirm that console audio slider is not at 0% volume as well
output device is System go xlr

No not that place. In the goxlr mixer tab
Yeah everything looks good to me
Then idk how you are not getting audio then.
yeah im lost
i got it. the 4k capture was muted
i didnt know that needed to be open
thanks for your help
👍🏻
The only thing now is, Im not hearing any dialogue in the game but all the other sound is there.
when someone talks its very quite and not matched to the audio volume???
does it matter which audio mode is selected on the extractor? its on ARC by default

This is because it thinks it needs to send surround sound.
Go stereo sound flip it to the right
For me to solve this I had to set my "HDMI Device Type" to "AV Amplifier" and "Number of Channels" to "2 ch" in the PS5's audio settings. Even after setting my extracter to stereo.

That did it. Much thanks.
