Today we're upgrading the Linux Trashcan Mac Pro with a new CPU, and an eGPU! I'm sure it will just work, no issues at all. How well can this thing game now?

you needed the madwifi drivers for this one, which involved using windows xp drivers inf files to do some magic command line stuff to make he wifi magically work on linux

I recased my GTX970/i3 build into a Fractal Design Node 202 case. Things went pretty well but I decided the black was too boring, so I found some colored plastidip and did a bit of painting.

Wthe node 202 is still my dream case tbh
WI was gonna get it for my i5 6500 + gtx 970 build (now turned into i5 11400 + rx 6600) but it fell through sadly

V2700x, 16GB 3000mhz RAM, 6700xt
VI'm aware the CPU and RAM aren't as good as they should be
BYeah, 3200 or 3600 MHz are usually the go to.
VMy system used to be more balanced, but then I upgraded my GPU.
VMy RAM is rated for 3200 but has a bug with Ryzen 2000 which causes massive instability
