Why does flatpaks take forever to start during the first 3 min after logging in?
Has anyone noticed that? It happens on both devices (which means it happens on NVIDIA and non NVIDIA graphics card)
EAfter the first time you connect to the internet, Flatpaks download from Flathub. After that, it doesn't ever happen again unless the script version is bumped, and if it is, it skips over Flatpaks that are already installed
Dwhy does it happen every time I boot?
EI have no idea. That's not something I've run into. What does your hardware look like?
JAre you running KDE? Could be the 'fix' for xdg desktop portals that creates the delay. Though it should be around 25 secs, not 3 min.
DYeah I didn't even time it. I think it was closer to 25 seconds for me actually
Khopefully F39 update corrects this
