the wine prefix should probably be changed from Default to "NBA 2k21" or something similar.
also, is it crashing or just hanging?

might be missing fonts, shaders compiled wrong, or a nvidia driver bug

i just seclect the lastest wine ge proton and reinstall. work perfectly
i use wine-ge-proton8-15-x86_64
