Belts Belts Belts

So I'm a little at a loss with belts. I feel like there's simultaneously a lot of variety and not a lot of variety with belts. I currently only have my one, ol' reliable belt but I've had it for years and it doesn't always fit 100% with everything I wear. So can anyone guide me or point me in the right direction to learning about belt types and/or what belts go with certain styles and looks?

What do you normally wear?

Belts to some extent need to match the intent/formality of your clothes. A belt for a suit looks different than a belt for jeans, which doesn't even get into belts for style and statement. So. Watcha wearing?

@cdfchopper @gimp Without going out of my way to try fits on and take photos and whatnot - A major portion of my wardrobe is still "The Basics", lots of neutral colors like browns, blacks, whites Chinos, Jeans, Khakis, Linen trousers - My everyday looks are street casual If that is helpful at all

Something like this is probably going to do the trick: https://jeanstore.co.uk/products/tanner-goods-classic-leather-belt-cognac-brushed-steel Recommendations depend on budget/location, but there's probably someone local who can make you something very nice for under $100. Otherwise, often options on eBay for lightly used stuff very cheap.
