I seem to require output: 'export'output: 'export' in my config but that can't co-exist with nextjs rewrites

I have no clue what nextjs rewrites are but I assume you can probably use pages redirects for that: https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/platform/redirects/#redirects

And you would use the Next.js static export option for the preset

I tried it with the export option and the output shows up in the buildbuild directory. but I lose the rewrites capability this way

If you run the build locally with nixnix(or another build/dependency tool), then all of your dependencies will be bundled before being deployed.
