CI kinda doubt that's your issue if the problem is it adding two, and it defaults to false. I don't know nextjs that well though. I would ask in #next-on-pages or #pages-discussions. Your issue sounds like either an issue with the i8n library/thing you're using, or something with next-on-pages if it works locally

IThis is a Next.js issue. You don't fix this in Cloudflare.
IYou probably need to fix your internationalization library or Next.js settings, as Chaika said.

CI'm not sure which one you mean, but the only way you'd get a ping/ICMP to actually go through the tunnel is with WARP Private Networking.
Anything else would either be against Cloudflare's Anycast IPs, or not work.

You -> Edge Cloudflare Datacenter -> Cloudflare Datacenter your tunnel is connected to -> Tunnel
By pinging your tunnel's hostname, you'd only see the first step.
Additionally, not all Cloudflare datacenters support tunnel connections, the datacenter you connect to/your ping would hit isn't necessarily where your tunnel would connect to
