World in Conflict (from GoG) shows red screen

After install and on launch, I can hear the introduction videos, but all I see is a giant red screen. I'm on the steamdeck. Log from HL is attached

Try installing Wine-GE in Heroic's Wine Manager and using that in the game's setting in Heroic. It will yield more detailed logs.

One is Proton, the other is Wine with some Proton patches applied. Generally Wine-GE is preferred.
