I don't think the winetricks issue is the problem here, we don't use the winetricks download to detect the connectivity, I imagine even with a longer timeout it will still fail, the problem is that heroic's backend can't connect to the internet we've seen that issue in the past, and using a VPN has solved it for those users

probably not try a custom DNS server or some other vpn app do some googling do you have a openvpn section in your system settings app ?

GG valve still hasn't added it you have to disable the read only filesystem and install it there's probably a better way, but I don't know enough about networking

sudo steamos-readonly disable

sudo pacman-key --init

sudo pacman-key --populate

sudo pacman -S networkmanager-openvpn

sudo steamos-readonly enable

sudo steamos-readonly disable

sudo pacman-key --init

sudo pacman-key --populate

sudo pacman -S networkmanager-openvpn

sudo steamos-readonly enable

that should install openvpn support

I’m not sure where to go on that site All that konsole stuff worked though Update on the issue It still says offline but I can now download games from epic games But it won’t let me install games from my Amazon library
