i brought those 18e goreckis on a whim but that gray is hard to style. maybe by itself not a issue but the bagginess feels like it removes a lot of options. i need to like, brainstorm what direction i could take before i do a catch and release
follow the example can be used to create more contrast if you have colorful pieces paired w/ it
can also mess around with a slimmer base layer on top for the same idea (loose jacket/tank/baggy pants)
Heeled boots/shoes. I love how they look just don’t know I feel about them on me. Something like what’s in this picture but maybe with a slightly higher heel
I think you are overthinking it ngl. Gray is super neutral and goes with basically any other color, the Goreckis have nice textures that add to their look as well.
Also baggy pants go with everything right now silhouette-wise. Little shirt big pants is a classic (the most obvious example is in woman's fashion, a crop top + baggy cargos, mens equivalent is just a slim fit or cropped tee). It will also balance baggy tops. If you got some chunkier sneakers just throw stuff on and try it.
Wide pants
How convenient, I was just about to make a thread in #outfit-feedback for this!
I bought this on Depop, described as a women’s cropped kimono-style jacket. Very boxy, long sleeves, I think it buttons closed in a cool way, big fan. But I’ve been hesitating in putting together an outfit with it. If anything I think it’s the colors that are giving me a hard time. Should I just keep the colors simple on everything else I’m wearing (black and white) and use it as my statement piece?
@JusPassItToWill I would recommend going with earth tones instead of black and white
Good idea; thanks!
Yeah, I think choosing colors that are already present in the piece would be safest, and you'd have a lot of options. khaki, brick red, maybe even blue/gray. Just swapping the white tee for a beige one would move you in that direction, but the black pants are a little stark. Maybe jeans and a not-white tee?
red shirt from Levis that I've had for a while, not sure how to style it
