Moonlighter issue
I'm back with this error :). Moonlighter launchers a black screen. I tried redist, PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 and proton7-26
I just want to play the game ;-;
I'm on fedora 38. please @me so I can see it, thanks

use wine-ge and get rid of the launch options
also delete the prefix just to be sure

as previously advised, delete the prefix, use wine-ge-latest, install vcrun2019 via winetricks
back up your saves

I deleted the prefix and used latest wine-ge, tired it and it did the same thing. then I installed vcrun2019 and it still blackscreens

your prefix is the same as the game install path. you need to not have it be that

you now need to verify and repair since you made the folders the same. also, don't have it be in "prefixes" have it be a sub folder within prefixes for Moonlighter

okay, these are the steps you need to take, one by one.
1. Open the game page in Heroic
2. Open the sandwich menu at the top
3. Click Verify and Repair
4. Wait for that to finish
5. Open the game settings
6. Change the saves back to what they were originally. I can't for the life of me understand why you changed this:
/home/cink/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Moonlighter/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/11BitStudios/Moonlighter7. Change the prefix line to the following like I told you to a while ago:
/home/cink/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Moonlighter8. Try to open the game 9. Post a new log if it doesn't work.

I know, it doesn't matter too much. The default/ folder is a weird inconsistency that some people have and some people don't.

i've edited the message, there doesn't need to be a folder existing yet, copy and paste what's there into the save location in the heroic settings

do not change ANY settings in heroic

The 9-25 release had a bug with vcrun2019, I think
Make sure you hit the refresh button so it actually updates

You may need to recreate the prefix and/or reinstall vcrun
