COS - Tapered Wool Chinos

I bought these wool trousers from COS : https://www.cos.com/en_eur/men/menswear/trousers/product.tapered-wool-chinos-grey.1003340005.html
In the description it says "99% RWS Wool, 1% Elastane / Machine washable".
But in the care guide it says "Dry clean / Unwashable".
Anyone have these trousers and tried to machine wash it? Thanks!
