just looks like khaki to me
It is khaki but weirdly all the khaki I’ve seen are more yellow-y or have olive tones. This one is brownish? I feel it goes really well with navy colours so I prefer this shade of khaki
The guy in the photo used to work for the Armoury in New York/Hong Kong and they stock lots of stuff like that.
The colour might be the lighting in the photo. This is pretty dimly lit.
British Khaki leans a bit more brown though, or try tan.
From The Armoury
“Mocha”
Taupe?
mocha for sure, imo the tough part here is the weave. going to read as more brown or olive if it's a cotton twill or something. the flatweave wool makes a big difference in the way the color reads
Might also be called ... tan
But yeah the entire category is usually called khaki and ranges in precise colors
I personally like twill and whipcord for khaki, for winter. For summer, a slubby linen blend.
Thanks for the help folks!
keep an eye on drop93 if you'd like to pick up armoury pants at a more affordable price
i love his artwork, recognize him from Instagram
OMG FUCK. Frank and Oak had pleated pants for sale in mocha color. It sold out in my SIZE.
Even with the discounts, the Drop 93 is outrageously expensive lol.
Out of my budget but the stuff looks good. Also I'm naturally a skinny mf and even the smallest size pants listed there wouldn't fit me
what location are you in btw?
it's worth keeping in mind, what one company calls "mocha" won't necessarily be another's.
Yeah that's true.
Also in Canada
Kind of difficult just going by color searches so I'm literally just looking at any place that sells pants for men
checkout what pants they sell in a local menswear store if you're looking new i think?
there is a canadian brand called ballin that makes nice wool slacks
thrift stores too
Looks good. Sizing only issue.
Unless it's worth to tailor and size down a tad bit
Spier and Mackay has a wide range of khaki colours. I'd check them out, especially because they're in Mississauga.
I was thinking of recommending the same, yeah.
This and Luxire were the first places I looked at during my search.
