Cannot launch Wolfenstein: The New Order
Attempting to launch gives an error message (same as in log, provided)
I resigned into my Epic Games account with no change compared to before (the log is from after resigning into my Epic account)

hmmm sounds like a legendary issue, can you try with legendary without heroic in the middle? (legendary is the tool we use in the background to launch epic games)

you have that already C:\Users\noblish\AppData\Local\Programs\heroic\resources\app.asar.unpacked\build\bin\win32\legendary we ship it with heroic

but the one you have is is old (from heroic 2.9.2, we just released 2.10.0 with an updated legendary)
you might want to try updating heroic first, maybe the new legendary fixes the issue

so i launched legendary and did the list-installed command to see if legendary could even see wolfenstein but it didnt show up in the list ..
tried looking at wolfenstein in heroic again and it couldnt load the game info
ive checked the game's install directory and the game is there ..

try importing the game:
legendary import <the app name> <the path to the intalled game> , the app name is displayed when you run legendary listrare-sapphireOP•2y ago
ah so
looking through the files the exe to launch the game is gone somehow .. that explains it
have no idea how that happened ..
this has textures and a few other files

try repairing the game then
you have the option in heroic clicking the 3 dots in the game page (make sure you use heroic 2.10.0, 2.9.2 has a bug)
or use legendary repair command

it doesnt let me repair ._. the windows notification says "error repairing" before "finished repairing"

so, adding a --disable-check to the end of this command is allowing me to verify the game! ^-^ its verifying atm

oh, the game doesn't like it when I switch desktops? Then it freezes?
