Hi, I just signed up yesterday for CF and am trying to set up a public bucket for static files. I'm not sure what is happening but my https://{account_id}.r2.cloudflarestorage.com/ is returning an ssl error, tested with awscli as the CF docs instruct. I've checked online and other people's links with their account id would at least return a 404 or 401 if you try to access it on the browser. Mine is returning the same ssl error as a non-existent id like https://asdf.r2.cloudflarestorage.com/. Did I miss anything setting this up?

There are no bandwidth limits you can use an unlimited amount of bandwidth and it is free.

I've heard that at some point they will contact you if you'd like to choose an ENT plan, but don't quote me on that. I don't know if 1,5PB would be a threshold for that

They do reach out to high usage customers but you dont have to upgrade.

I have no clue what is considered high usage it probably depends on your spend per month being fairly high where a sales person would think it could be reasonable that you would want to upgrade to enterprise. You do not have to upgrade if they reach out to you but you can also reach out to them instead if you wanted to see what pricing might look like for an enterprise plan

I mean obviously its more expensive than the pro plan. You get very basic features with pro thats it. An enterprise plan gets you enterprise support with quick responses and phone lines for emergencies, a customer success manager sometimes even a solutions engineer, SLAs. You cant get all of that for $25/mo

But enterprise also gets you bulk usage discounts on products if you use them a lot so you could in theory save money on certain products even if you spend more overall because of support plans and other features added on

Ya, they changed the overviewoverview endpoint to defaultdefault for some reason and didn't do a redirect. Saw it a couple weeks ago when users were complaining deeplinks into the bucket on the Cloudflare dashboard stopped working. Should have redirected the old location, but w/e...

Hi, I have a REST API where a subset of the routes return objects from R2 which can be made publicly available. Rather than reading the objects from my API to serve those requests, I would like to serve them directly from Cloudflare with the public bucket feature. However, I still want all other routes to hit my API servers. Is this possible? Thanks!

Though I would note that you are probably more likely to get a friendly email if you used presigned URL than if you use a Custom Domain, since Custom Domain traffic can be cached

Im facing an issue with displaying video and audio files from R2 at Mac and iOS - video shows as black square and audio doesnt want to play. At Ubuntu and Win browsers it shows ok. My backend returns presigned urls with some ttl to a frontend client. Had anyone faced with the same issue?

You can do it with the undocumented endpoint if you need it immediately. Not sure if it's being changed as part of the API cleanup/documenting, so "use at your own risk".

I don't know if the stuff you are doing is just for R2 or not, but if it's broader scale, some general consistency with the Cloudflare API would be welcome. For example I can think of 5 different ways that boolean values are presented/used for writes (maybe more, I just use a subset of API calls and this is what I've run into). A true/positive can be one of these (not interchangably, just different for different endpoints):
