Path of Exile fails to launch, crashes with error message
First tried Wine-GE-735 since that was the version listed in Heroic (hadn't used it for a while). Then tried Wine-GE-822, which was the latest. That failed too, so I tried out Wine-GE-latest. Still crashed.
There is a brief glimpse of the game launcher, as it checks for updates. When I ran it for the first time yesterday, it updated the game successfully, after downloading about 5 GB. However, the game itself fails to start. It gives the error message in the attached screenshot.
