Hi, I have two questions:

1. Is there any difference on the selection of the PoPs to which my user will be served content in Free and Pro tier? I have often seen my requests being served all the way from France servers or other part of the world despite having 3 Cloudflare CDN PoPs in my country Pakistan (one is in my city). Will it make any difference if I switch from Free plan to Pro plan?
2. I have hosted my content on R2, so is my content replicated across Cloudflare regions so that it is served from closest origin in case of cache MISS?

I need to write a cloud function to copy a file from google cloud storage to R2 storage. There is a Dart package for accessing any S3 compatible storage but I am wondering if a cloudflare worker could do the file copy more easily than running Dart code in google cloud Run could do it? Can a cloudflare worker do the file copy?

Probably something like 20 files at a time, maybe 10 to 20 MB. It will probably happen every few minutes.

It would be easiest to write it in JavaScript. As for how to access a file on GCS, you should be able to use a library like

Okay. Can you help me figure if switching to Cloudflare CDN is a good choice given that the content served to my users would be small TS video file chunks ranging from 200KB to 2MB (stored on R2) and majority of my users are from Pakistan, and then from India/UAE. Cloudflare does show that 3 PoPs in Pakistan but often my requests have been routed to far away PoPs instead of the one in my city. I want to understand why it does this, is it about the plan I have opted or does it depend on something else.

Yes it would be good to switch as it works globally and if you use R2 it is signifcantly cheaper than other services and faster

1. All PoPs are available to all plans (other than china) however free plans are the first to be routed elsewhere if a specific PoP is getting close to capacity. The higher plan level you have the less likely your traffic will be routed elsewhere due to capacity requirements. So the pro plan can help yes.
2. Content on R2 is not replicated across regions. It is currently single region. I know there have been talks about how multi-region will work before but not sure if we are close to that happening yet or not.

R2 does not have any rate limits but when you reach upwards of 10k rps on a single bucket there may be some scaling issues

my concern is not that R2 will fail, but from data loss due to a security breach, rogue processes, programming errors, etc

So i created a r2 bucket and selected the "Specify jurisdiction" field and it is now throwing me this error every time going into the bucket on the dash.
