MIs there a command for me to re install the base fedora OS? I received the update to fix the keyboard last night, but I had to fight with the unit to get it. I’m worried that I didn’t actually get it, and maybe a reinstall will pull the update correctly
Mthanks! I don't know if it'll work in my case - but I will give it a shot. the docker RPM decided to refuse to get installed because of its install path, which is a known issue to docker folks. maybe podman will work, thanks for letting me know!

Lhello, i just installed bazzite on my laptop as my second ever linux experience in my life (first one has been SteamOs) and i have a few questions, is anyone online so kind as to help me with a couple of issues?
Lmy main issue is that something weird happens with the nvidia drivers
Lat startup the OS says that it's defaulting to noveau because the nvidia kernel cannot be found. How can i troubleshoot this?
USo, just popping in to say that one week after installing my new AMD vidya card, I couldn't be happier with my "just running Bazzite, Windows can go to hell now" gaming rig

UI would check to see if you have Secureboot active in the BIOS. I THINK the Nvidia driver might need to be signed if it's active

LAlso I think THINK that actually the video card is recognised and works after the system finishes loading. I did try running a game and it seemed to work. How can I check if it's running with up to date drivers?

USo that means it loaded the kernel module
LSo why the error?
UIt could be that your initramfs doesn't have the proper driver since that was built when you still had secureboot on
LIt must have loaded the module AFTER the error
UAnd then once the system gets going, it can load the module properly
LOk how do I rebuild it?
USo, with a regular ol' Linux, you can fire off a command
UWith Bazzite, since it's immutable...I'll defer to someone who knows it better than me

LAlso another thing I noticed
LIf I go into the system information tab in the os gui it doesn't actually say i have a Nvidia card
LBut it says I have an Intel integrated graphics card. Which I do, but I don't think it should show up as default
