CI do think it'll help a lot to have that connection on my resume
CI should probably look into getting some certifications too, though
EThat's really cool. Internships usually go a long way. I went to school with a couple friends that interned at IBM and were offered positions there right after. It helps to have work experience from the get go
CI've had my eye on IBM/RH and AMD, if I can get in the door with either of them
ERH or Canonical would be a dream
CI may not be a big fan of Canonical but I'd probably take it over a "defense" contractor these days
EI live about 2 hours away from a ton of def contractors and I've had good luck landing interviews with them. Problem is relocating to a significantly more dangerous area
