Pretty sure I remember having this same issue with my laptop. Something about nvidia I’m pretty sure was the issue. I had to launch steam with my integrated AMD gpu and then launch games with my dedicated NVIDIA GPU

What I’ve come to gather is, NVIDIA works on Linux, but AMD works with a lot less headaches. Personally I’ve taken Linux off of my laptop until valve releases their SteamOS for desktop image as one of the reasons they haven’t is due to poor support on NVIDIAs side

I can use the web for photoshop and my work computer for fusion, but VR not working well enough kinda sucks. Hopefully deckard or whatever it’s called gets valve to fix Steam VR on the Linux side of things

yeah that's where they live, and then bazzite/bluefin might have specific ones, that's how I get the right things on my PCs, it works out nice

i just saw that Bazzite supports CEC. How does this work exactly? I turn on the Deck and my TV/Receiver should turn on too? Can I control my audio on my receiver with my Deck?

im pretty sure someone told me to just terminal in the same folder the .rpm is located, then run rpm-ostree install "filename" rpm-ostree install "filename"

i think you can also run rpm-ostree install windscriberpm-ostree install windscribe in terminal if the package is on fedora's repos

i run mostly everything i have right now in an arch container with no issues. although i forgot to install an audio driver in the beginning and couldnt figure out why i had no audio in my browser xD

i think by 2024 nvidia vulkan driver could be almost complete so nvidia might be equal to amd?
