SEven the /Emulation/saves/Retroarch/ symlinks do not work (saying that the location does not exist).
SI can only see all the folders in Dolphin launched as root and in the Konsole (in normal mode) using ls command

Tyou really may want to verify that. Dolphin is not installed as a Flatpak by default

~/.var/app folder shows Dolphin-related flatpak dataTI suggest you uninstall Dolphin using Discover so you don't confuse yourself further
