Looking for a mic for irl filming
So I plan to record fitness content and I have no clue what microphone to get. I'd need something that I can just attach to my shirt etc and that can kinda filter out the background noise since I'll be filming in a public gym. Any recommendations are welcome :)

You probably want to use a lav mic. Or if you don't mind the mic being more visible you can use a headset mic. These are pretty much the only kinds that allow you to move around and have your hands free. But they do pick up the environment. The only way to combat this is by making your voice much louder than the background noise. So get the mic as close to your mouth as possible. You could even run it over your ear, that's a common practice in theater audio for example
