I'm using it now and it worked great added Rockstar, ubisoft, gog, epic, humble, ea, Netflix, and Hulu. I like that it's very hands off. Just run it and it runs it all and adds it all to steam for game mode integration.

what's going on is every game you install is being placed in the same prefix

So it is impossible to do anything while holding the guide button on an Xbox controller. It just ignores any other input, making the quick access menu impossible to access without doing something like holding the A button and then pressing the guide button. This also means you can't use any chorded actions, like using the mouse by holding it down
