MDid you check your controller mode? Sometimes that can change things. Legion_L + the right shoulder button. Switched between x-input and d-input modes.
MMinput remapping with Steam-patch can also take one or two reboots of the device and Steam to work itself out.
KNote that we aren't using steam patch input, purely HandyGCCS for that

It's a good addition for non-tweakers, but I prefer to keep my autostart/script/etc consistent in all my images and I use Bazzite for PC but Kinoite for laptop...
