Hopeing for some assistance. I installed Bazzite Deck on my new Steam Deck OLED. It is stuck with a "_" when booting first time after install. Any ideas?

OLED isn't supported yet, stick with SteamOS until we can confirm it's ready

has anyone gotten sunshine working with an AMD card? it always gives me "Fatal: Couldn't find any working encoder" even after trying all the troubleshooting steps on their documentation. using the flatpak version on the latest bazzite

I found 3 of them:

/usr/etc/modprobe.d
/usr/lib/modprobe.d
/etc/modprobe.d

I guess either of the first two, but which one is the most appropriate?

I'm reading that modprobe.dmodprobe.d is more for various configurations. /etc/modules-load.d//etc/modules-load.d/ is for specifying what to load

well, if you want to know how my day is going, I spent ~2 hours troubleshooting an issue with http/https cookies and phpmyadmin, which prevented me from logging in, only to find out that it was the darkreader extension for firefox that was causing me the headache

CoolerControl is a quite the quality piece of software - https://gitlab.com/coolercontrol/coolercontrol for fan & led control
It detects my nvidia gpu fans, cpu & mobo (with the nct6775nct6775 kernel module) fans & mobo leds.

Have y'all considered including it? The flatpak version doesn't detect the GPU for some reason, so I layer it

Now, you might think that's a fun little thing some sysadmin put in there to make their blog more interesting, but you would be wrong. You see, the content farm is actually supposedly about Mexican food. The AI just got a little confused and wrote an article on Guacamole the software instead.
