Hmight be that all you need to do is move out
or it will be enough to just edit that .desktop file
/etc/xdg/autostart/steam.desktop to disable the steam autostartor it will be enough to just edit that .desktop file
Tam i right in entering that in konsole? do i need to grant myself pseudo? when i tried "systemctl disable --user app-steam@autostart.service" it gives an error of " the unit files have no installation config [ ] This means they are not meant to be enabled or disabled using systemctl. "

Tah ok so i'm on the bazzite-steam file, how would i actually add one of those arguments. on windows you'd do something like make a shortcut and then add that in the properties section of launch arguments but on this do i need to open the file and add that as a line somewhere?

Jwhat typically happens is your user edited one in /etc/ will take precedence over usr/share things, but not sure on this one

Hi dont use the desktop image i dont know the subtile differences, maybe the steam autostart is in the user location for desktop images, hence why i wanted to find out
