The duration is only while you are actively handling requests. As soon as all promises resolve and you respond to a request the duration stops.

If all you do in the durable object is storage operations the duration is so negligible that I wouldn’t even consider it when estimating costs tbh

Even if you are multiple concurrent requests on the same object don’t exponentially increase the bill the duration is billed on the object level not the request level so if you have 2 requests at the same time that both take 5 seconds you get billed 5 seconds not 10 seconds.

If your framework doesn't have its own build command, you can try something like npx wrangler pages functions build --outdir distnpx wrangler pages functions build --outdir dist and then check the index.jsindex.js in distdist

I don't think devdev makes a distinction, it just tells you 503. If you publish it then the tail logs would tell you which it is

Only argo smart routing and spectrum charge bandwidth but those are way overpriced features and you probably don’t need them anyways

A domain can't timeout, are you referring to a worker or a website? Maybe Pages? The domain by itself just points to resources, so you need to check how you're delivering those resources.
