Ksince you're using a GNOME image, that is powered by the GSConnect gnome extension
KI would open an issue with them, not ours to fix
KX11 was merely a suggestion, can switch back to Wayland since it didn't fix it for you

DI think I managed to edit the file and after changing to X11 the pointer now is showing but it's very slow and doesn't recognize any input/keyboard input. I'll just give up for now
