hey, I have a question I get a mime type mismatch on my page, I used create react app for the project, its my portfolio and when deployed everything is white and I get this same error: The resource from “https://portfolio-c3f.pages.dev/portfolio/static/js/main.2ae3fafd.js” was blocked due to MIME type (“text/html”) mismatch (X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff).

I've tried scouring through the forums but I wasn't able to find a solution

Pages by default has "SPA" behavior where it will serve your index.html if you don't create a top level 404.html, when a page isn't found

yea looks like unless you have a Public_URL env set set it'll use your homepage there: https://create-react-app.dev/docs/deployment/#building-for-relative-paths
Looks like you can just delete it, or could try removing the path from there as it seems to just care about the relative subdirectory part

npm run build creates a build directory with a production build of your app. Set up your favorite HTTP server so that a visitor to your site is served index.html, and requests to static paths like /static/js/main..js are served with the contents of the /static/js/main..js file. seems to be just if you wanted it to assume the root directory and work under any subdirectory, with the consequence of not working with client routing or push state

Pages without a 404.html in the root will serve the index.html if a file isn't found, hence the type mismatch. So it was obvious the file was missing, and I just guessed the portfolio part was a mistake, usually /static/ is at root (espec with simpler Pages apps). It returned a file, so at that point it seemed like a simple misconfiguration
