is this balmacaan too big?
i got this 100% wool balmacaan for 88% off last year from jcrew in my tts. im kinda worried it’s too big, since it flares out substantially. also, the arm holes are pretty low so raising my arms looks a little goofy…
does it look wack? tags are still on as i got it when it was too hot to wear, so im debating wearing it or selling.

If you layered underneath it more it might look more suitable. But right now it seems a bit too wide, hides your silhouette
You could get it brought in a bit. Not too much though
Balmacaans are supposed to be somewhat big and usually have an a-line silhouette. They're walking coats, and have space to allow this. This looks ok to me.

It probably flares out because it’s too small in the waist. You could also try wearing fuller pants which would make the flare look less pronounced
I have this coat too. It’s awesome. Try wearing it open with a suit or an Oxford. Layer that bad boy up
