EI have a suspicion of what's causing it. I don't think it likes the defaults I set following FROM
EIn other words, I'd suspect image info claims the base image is Kinoite

TOn testing channel OLED deck, is the power profile supposed to be Performance? When I initially installed it was on Power Save but now it is always switching to Performance after reboot and my battery life is crap.
KYes, I'm not sure what's up with your battery life but that should be performance
KIt gets reset every time you enter game mode
KPerformance mode functions differently here because we use amd-pstate, it's using the power save governor
KAnd hinting to pstate that we would like optimal performance when under load
TAh alright. I haven't done a real battery life test so it could just be nothing. Was just making sure.
TThe only other thing I've noticed is that CPU power doesn't seem to report in mangohud.

TI was used to seeing less than 1 watt on cpu and gpu and getting around 12 hours battery life playing PS1 games. Eventually I'll see if it's similar here.

MDo you know what adds the controller firmware update button to Steam? Unless I’ve started to cross my wires I’m almost positive the Steam client has an update button below the controller version on SteamOS
Mthe updated script itself works, I tested that when fixing my accidental old firmware flash.
