Just add a non-steam game to steam and select "nested desktop"

I am starting to think it's indeed just a Nvidia problem, I have seen this behavior before on windows with stock drivers installed and not updated

NVidia has always recommended using X11 instead of Wayland on Linux.

Arc cards are currently supported on the Desktop image. Steam Deck/HTPC support will come at some point in the future.

lool sorry about that. i was trying to explain that it was only being dropped temporarily in the post. there was an issue a while back with kernel modules not installing that it required but that's resolved now i guess
