What’s the oldest piece in your closet? How long have you had it? What do you like about that piece? What’s the newest? Will it someday be one of your oldest?

The oldest in terms of how long I've had it is a pair of gustin jeans, which were my first "big" fashion purchase. Tbh don't really like anything about it but the resale is too low for me to get rid of it so it's just sitting. My newest piece is a orslow 1950s coverall and I do feel like it'll be one of my oldest pieces, but I have honestly thought the same for a few pieces I also bought a few years ago and just resold later down the line.

Oldest - probably an LV tie from maybe 2003 or so. Newest - MiJ Levi's, a replacement pair of onitsukas, pair of Jordans, vuori joggers, and a couple of rag and bone shirts Doubt anything I just listed will ever end up being one of the oldest

This is a letter sweater from the mid 50s. I like how personalized it is, all the name patches, etc. I was even able to track down the obit of the person who owned it originally

The oldest item (in terms of how long I’ve had it) in my wardrobe is this Pendleton scarf I’ve had since high school. My newest item are these Ooe Yofukuten jeans.

The piece I’ve had the longest is a plaid fleece jacket that I got in high school in 2006. I haven’t worn it in years but I’m still a fan of it. Newest is some pants from the J crew sale. Wallace and Barnes twill work pants and classic chinos. I plan on keeping them for awhile but we will see if I don’t gain or lose too much weight

Oldest: oldest item I can think of is probably a blue Burberry plaid patterned tie which I bought off a friend 12 years ago in college (it was a pair of stance socks that I had owned since high school, but they wore through a month ago… rip) Newest: a pair of socks with donuts on them that a student gifted to me. I will likely eat them shortly.

Oldest is a lined cardigan/jacket that was my Grandpa’s. It was handed down to my mum who wore it through college, and now owned by me. Its quite short especially in the sleeves but not something I would let go for sentimental reasons. For something I bought, probably an Oni secret olive denim that I got off proxy for about 3000 jpy in 2012. They don’t make this same fabric (20oz secret denim in olive) anymore iirc. Unfortunately I barely wear it anymore because it’s too small on me now. For new - got a couple of things while on holiday. Most recent is a kapital boro ring coat off ebay last night. Yes I could see myself keep this for quite some time.
