someone put me out of my underwear hunt misery
Hey everyone,
I’ve been doing quite some research on which underwear to buy and have stumbled upon so many options and conflicting reviews. I’ve searched the sub on Reddit and found that Saxx, Lululemon, Patagonia, Duluth, and EfOfficio are the most common recommendations for underwear.
I see a lot of conflicting reviews regarding all these brands and about how their quality has dropped over the years. I am just looking for something that will keep me cool down there and not cause any chafing. I am an active person so I need something that will also be made for that.
Any suggestions or experiences? Thanks!

a little expensive but i wear meundies. i just gradually bought a pair here and there until my entire underwear wardrobe was all meundies. they dont chafe, dont get hot, and frankly they are soft enough its almost like youve got nothing on at all. just my opinion
You ever try Uniqlo airism? They're pretty light and also cheap.
Calvin Klein modal. Tried them once on a sale and haven’t ever gone back
I think I’ve tried all the Duluths, and I really like the Armachillos for active wear and I do NOT like any of the other models. I’m a big fan of CK modals and Armachillo I consider to be a similar feel but a tougher build.
Uniqlo airism is what you want

I tried on the Uniqlo Airism one and I like it so much I bought 10 of them right on the spot
CDLP is fantastic.
Oddly, Proper Cloth’s underwear is very comfortable.
Target goodfellow is nice and cheap. I’ve not found the more expensive brands like meundies or Tommy John and similar to be worth it
I've been enjoying my Costco and gap ones I got a few months ago too
I second having a pair of Uniqlo airisms on hand too, they're so light
I bought into the Lulu underwear and loved them. It feels like they changed something, because the originals I had are still in decent shape, but everything I bought after that the elastics have worn out and they cause a lot of chaffing. Tried MeUndies, great product so far, but for the comfort vs. cost its gotta be Costco and cheaper athletic brands. I bought Reebok underwear from Sams club for around $15/4 pairs and they outperformed the Lulus in every way. The Supima cotton from Costco is great and so cheap. Plain, no real branding so they look classic. The one I would like to know about is if anyone has experience with Smartwool underwear? All the products I have decided to replace with merino wool, I refuse to go back, so I would like to hear how their underwear rate.
Costco brand ones (32*cool) >>>>
32 degrees is my go to, they are cheap as hell and pretty serviceable
